About Reverse Bladder Leaks

Reverse Bladder Leaks is a science-backed resource dedicated to helping women navigate bladder leaks and urinary incontinence with clarity and confidence. Instead of vague advice or sensationalized quick fixes, we focus on honest, research-based information you can actually use, whether you have just noticed the first leak when you cough or you have been managing symptoms for years.

About Ellen Bennett

I am Ellen Bennett, a women’s health researcher and the person behind this site. Like a lot of women, I assumed bladder leaks were just a normal, permanent part of getting older or having kids. In my late forties I started leaking when I coughed, sneezed, or laughed too hard, and I quietly accepted it for far longer than I should have.

What changed things for me was treating it like a research problem instead of a source of embarrassment. Through consistent pelvic floor training, a few targeted lifestyle changes, and evidence-based supplementation, I saw real improvement, and I realized how much trustworthy information most women are never given. This site is the resource I wish someone had handed me on day one.

Our Mission

Everything published here is grounded in peer-reviewed research from sources including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), PubMed, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and the Urology Care Foundation. Bladder leaks are common, but common does not mean you have to live with them, and for many women symptoms can be meaningfully improved.

Our goal is simple: to give you clear, calm, and accurate guidance so you can make informed decisions and talk to your doctor from a place of knowledge rather than fear.
